Dear President,
Good day to you.
I come to you as a respectful yet dissatisfied constituents
Respectfully I want to voice my disconent
I ́m not gonna claim to know nor make any speculation
about the true specifics of your vocation.
Nor do I want to speak on any specific situation
that faces the nation.
I only come to give voice to a theory
as to why the people have become weary.
Weary of the campaign slogans and clever TV ads,
the big smiles, kissing the babies, photo ops on every other
newscast.
The national debates from state to state
the handshakes that exhilarate and motivate
All the things that at the end of the campaign trail
sadly & continuously lead to dashed hopes to put it in a
nutshell.
The clever words we ́ve already heard too many times too
many.
Ordered words and speeches we ́ve heard plenty
Could you please dear President, just talk to me.
No pre-prepared speech, no looking down at the cheat
sheet,
No scripted text,
No skillfull wording composed to appease the press.
No tele-prompters and no in ear monitors.
Words straight from the heart understandable by any
commoner
Words off the top of your head
Not from some speech writer but from you instead
No worries if you should fumble your speech

after all you ́re only human, right? Just like me
No vague wording, nothing that calls for me to have handy a
dictionary
Just some straightforward talk for the everyday ordinary
Garbage collector, college professor
sunday school teacher, the local church preacher
any 3rd grade pupil or any person blowing on a bugle
I petition you dear president, because its becoming rather
crucial
That the everyday citizen understand the plan at hand
for the lack of clear understanding has become way too grand
So called democracy has become a mockery
Just a mere utterance lacking the essence of its intended
properties
So just tell me whats going on
Just tell me whats going wrong

I pledge a grievance on behalf of the disgruntled
citizens of America
and to the destruction for which the administration
stands
A nation run by frauds, hypocritical, subjective
liberty, and justice but not for all
